SWAT called to home off Oak Grove Road

From the Gwinnett County Police Department:

“On July 22, 2016, at approximately 2000hours, the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to the 200 block of Jarrod Oaks Court in Loganville in reference to a domestic incident.  When they arrived, they learned that a male at the residence had barricaded himself in the residence with an infant child.  The male is possibly armed and has made threats to harm either himself or the child.  The SWAT team has responded and is actively working the situation.”

The neighborhood in question is next to Holy Cross Anglican Church. Witnesses report several GCPD cars near the entrance of the neighborhood. If you don’t need to travel through that area, please avoid it.
