Harbor Oaks Montessori to hold auction for Art, Music programs

Elton John once sang that Saturday night’s alright for fighting, but that’s not the only thing Saturday nights are good for – they’re also good for making a difference in your community.

The Harbour Oaks Montessori school is hosting a fundraiser for their program this Saturday night, March 25th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The Under the Oak Auction will feature live and silent auctions to raise money for the school’s art, music, Spanish and PE programs. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Harbour Oaks PTO. Dinner, desserts, and beverages will be served.

“Attendees will be able to bid on tickets to Disney, Dollywood, Atlanta area museums, restaurants, retail stores, salons, and much more,” says Marijke Tromp, a board member of the school’s PTO. “We’ll have sporting events tickets and memorabilia as well. It’s also a great chance to pickup gift cards at below face value.”

Several local vendors are participating, including Rancho Allegre Farms, Masterpiece Mixers, Ebb & Flo, and Local Republic. The silent auction begins at 6:00 with live items auctioned off throughout the evening. For more information, you can visit the auction’s Facebook page.
