Gwinnett Police: Officer-involved shooting in Grayson

Officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at 138 Mission Oak Drive in Grayson at 8:30 pm Sunday evening. A male armed with a gun came to the location uninvited and threatened to kill everyone.

The male formerly lived at the location and is the ex-husband of the female that lives there. Two teenaged children ran from the location and called 911. When officers arrived they encountered the male outside the residence still armed with a handgun. The male refused to drop his weapon and was shot multiple times.

He was transported to Eastside Medical Center where his condition is unknown at this time. The GBI is responding to the scene and will be handling the investigation.
