Gwinnett PD seek help identifying suspect in string of robberies

On July 11, 2015, at approximately 2:30 AM, the suspect walked into the Sam’s Mart located at 1745 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd in Gwinnett County and pointed a pistol at the cashier while demanding the money from the register. The suspect fled the scene after being handed approximately $180 cash. Video surveillance of the incident is available.

The same suspect has robbed at least five other locations since that date. The locations include: a Shell gas station located at 3799 Buford Hwy in Brookhaven on July 12th, a Sam’s Mart located at 3841 Satellite Blvd in Duluth on July 18th, a Sam’s Mart located at 6185 Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta on July 19th, and a RaceTrac located at 2682 Buford Drive in Buford on July 20th.

The perpetrator was described as follows:

  • Black Male
  • Age: 20-25
  • 5 feet 10 inches tall
  • 200-220 lbs.
  • Last seen wearing: black tee-shirt, black pants, blue bandana, blue beanie cap and black gloves
  • Black pistol

Detectives need help from the public to identify the suspect. GCPD Robbery Unit detectives can be reached at 770-513-5300. Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
