Grayson to show “Big Hero 6”, GHS to host Midnight Madness on Friday night

BH62Parents, summer is drawing its last breath. What better way to use it than cheering on Hiro Hamada and Baymax?

The City of Grayson will show the Academy Award-winning Disney film Big Hero 6 on Friday, July 31st in Grayson City Park. The film will begin shortly after dark.

City officials encourage families to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to the park for an evening of superhero-sized fun.

GHS RamAnd after the movie wraps, families can simply move the party over to Grayson High School where the GHS Rams football team will host a Midnight Madness Practice beginning at, well, midnight.

The event is free to the community and will include bouncy houses and a Waffle House waffle-bar for $5 (while supplies last).

Midnight Madness will run from 12:01 – 2:00 AM. Fans will get a chance to meet the players and coaches from 11:00 – 11:30 PM.
