Grayson-area lacrosse players can look forward to this weekend. Sunday, December 13th will be “Lacrosse Day” at Bay Creek Park. Local lacrosse supporters are hoping that current and prospective players will take advantage of the event. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend and an extra stick.

Event coordinators have highlighted several of the day’s benefits:

  • Open to all experience levels!
  • Free Lacrosse Clinics and Activities
  • Experienced players should bring equipment
  • New players – if you have a stick, bring it.  If not, we will have extras on hand!
  • Instruction from current Grayson high School players and coaches!
  • Girls throw around 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
  • Boys throw around  2:30 PM – 5:00 PM

In addition to all of the great fun for the players, a Local Orthopedic Physicians Assistant will be on hand to provide sports physicals for $25 (cash only, exact hours will be announced on GAA Lacrosse website)

Last but not least, the event will also be the final mandatory uniform fitting for GAA players — every player MUST be fitted for their uniform. Parents of players who have not been fitted and will not be able to attend the Grayson Lacrosse Day are asked to please contact lacrosse@gaasports.org to make arrangements for sizing.
