Grayson gearing up for Falcons, add Mom’s Football Clinic

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 9.08.25 AMThe Atlanta Falcons are coming to Grayson this Friday night, but instead of a quick fly-by, the team is preparing to nest in Grayson for a couple of days.

The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, in partnership with Kids-and-Pros and Taco Mac, will host a FREE mom’s football safety clinic at Grayson High School on Tuesday, August 9th. The event is open to any moms with children who play, or are considering playing, tackle football. Check-in is from 6:00-7:00 PM, and the clinic runs from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Former professional athletes will guide participants through clinics on issues like proper fit for equipment, concussion safety, and safe tackling techniques. Participants will then move to the field for some football drills with their instructors.

Registration is required for the event (atlantafalcons.com/momsclinics). Participants should come dressed in active wear and with athletic shoes. Dinner will be served during the check-in period from 6-7 PM.

One final note:

Moms are asked to leave children and spouses at home.

You know, to help with focus.
