Find out more about The Railyard, Grayson’s newest development

So…it’s been a while. How are y’all?

Since the last post in July, we’ve had school start, seen Taste of Grayson revived, and watched with mixed fascination as the Independence development has slowly come along. And if you’ve been through downtown lately, you’ve probably noticed that the old, freestanding Post Office building has been torn down.

That latest development is part of a new building project called The Railyard, a mixed-use development that is going up on Britt Street and Pine Grove. A three-phase project that will bring new dining, retail, and living options to Grayson, The Railyard seeks to bring a downtown vibe to our local residents.

The first phase will create a lawn area, four new restaurant spaces, and new parking for the project. Phases two and three will come later.

For more information on The Railyard, you can follow them on Facebook, or visit their (very) new website.
