Christmas in Grayson and other weekend events

cigTurkey Day has come and gone. The tree is up, the house is festive, and you’ve already forgotten to move your family’s elf – twice.

It’s definitely the holiday season.

Grayson will get the holidays kicked off this weekend with the annual Christmas In Grayson celebration, held in Grayson Park. The event will run from 2:00 – 6:00PM, and will include lots of great activities for families. There will be live music, activities for kids, hot chocolate, s’mores, and the opportunity to visit with Santa. The evening will conclude with the lighting of Grayson’s tree right around 6:00.

But there are a couple of other events you won’t want to miss this weekend.

beveragessFirst, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the Beverage Superstore in Grayson tomorrow afternoon from 3:00 – 6:00PM. The horses will be part of the Superstore’s holiday kickoff, which includes a Holiday Wine Show from 4:00 – 8:00PM. GHS RamAnd on Friday night, the Grayson Rams varsity football team continues their march through the GHSA playoff bracket. The Rams will take on Mill Creek at Grayson High School, with kickoff at 7:30PM. The game is the semifinal contest, with the winner advancing to the state title game against the winner of the Roswell-Westlake game. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.
