Tribble Mill Park to get two new trails

Two new paved trails are coming this year to Tribble Mill Park, after approval Tuesday by the Board of Commissioners. Low bidder Vertical Earth got the $539,551 construction contract. A 10-foot wide concrete trail will lead from the Festival Field parking lot to the granite shoals on the east end of the 718-acre park. Lightning strike leads to house fire on Ozora Church Road

From the Gwinnett County Fire Department: Firefighters responded at 7:24 p.m., to a neighbor report of a house fire in the 2700 block of Ozora Church Road, SE in (unincorporated) Lawrenceville.  The caller to 9-1-1 reported heavy smoke from the back of the house and a vehicle in the driveway.  There was no answer at the front door.
