Archer High PTSA to host HBCU College Fair and Step Show

Archer High School’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is sponsoring its first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair & Step Show on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from noon to 4 p.m. at Archer High School (2255 New Hope Road, Lawrenceville, GA  30045).

The college fair is open to all high school students and will provide them an opportunity to learn about the diversity, affordability, and academically competitive programs found at HBCUs. It’s designed to be a self-guided tour for students, parents, and other attendees, and will offer students an opportunity to apply, review and receive literature/information. Sororities and fraternities will also be on hand to discuss their organizations and allow interested students to become familiar with them.

HBCU college/university recruiters and alumni can reserve their space on a first- come, first-served basis. R.S.V.P. to Archer High School PTSA at: Refreshments will be provided to the HBCU attendees.

As part of the event, local fraternities and sororities will perform a step show which will start immediately after the College Fair at 2 p.m. Students can R.S.V.P by clicking on the link:

  • FREE GIFT BAGS to the FIRST 200 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS who R.S.V.P. Must be present to receive free gift bag.
  • PRIZE DRAWINGS!!! Must be present to win! Prize drawings will be awarded to high school participants only & will be pulled from the R.S.V.P. attendance list.
  • Concessions will be provided by Archer High School PTSA.
